New station meets LOM target with double-decker Vel’boxes! (69)

Since their return to our catalog, the Vel’box multi-storey bike lockers have been a great success!

In March 2024, our fitters set off for Montrond-les-Bains in Lyon to assemble and install 8 double-decker Vel’boxes.

Bicycle lockers are ideal for optimizing parking, as they take up very little space. By opting for these multi-storey bike lockers, you can double your parking capacity.

In a Vel’box bike locker, 2 bikes can be stored individually and securely. The Montrond-les-Bains SNCF station in Lyon has set up 16 individual secure bicycle parking facilities. The upstairs bike boxes are equipped with 2 ParkUp double-deck racks, making it easy to place the bike inside. The rails are equipped with a restraint system for effortless mounting and dismounting.

Multi-storey Vel’boxes are available with sliding or swing doors. Here, cyclists will have access to sliding doors; they can secure their bikes during their absence with a padlock. In order to communicate effectively with passers-by, Abriplus has designed personalized stickers.

They were then glued to the attractive adhesive surface provided by the Vel’box multi-storey bike lockers.
