Bicycle shelters and double-decker racks at the Arsenal de Brest (29)

At the Arsenal de Brest, in Finistère (29), 3 bicycle shelters based on the Nomad model have been installed to encourage soft mobility.

Tailor-made to meet customer requirements, these 3 shelters feature double cladding for an attractive, designer look.

In fact, the wood cladding on each side of the bike shelter blends perfectly with the ZEBRA cut sheet metal cladding on the front and rear.

Two of these are equipped with a large awning that providesshelter for cyclists as they arrive, along the entire length of the shelter. The third is equipped with a smaller awning overhanging the entrance to the bike park.

These bike shelters are equipped with double-level bike racks to accommodate the maximum number of bikes: each has 19 bicycle spaces.

Security rings make it easy to attach the bike to the frame and wheel for optimum protection against theft.

These shelters are also equipped with solar panels that power the recharging of 3 electrically-assisted bicycles via VAE recharging boxes installed directly on the 2 Park Up supports.

To offer a complete package to future users, useful equipment for bicycle maintenance has also been installed in the bike shelters.

A pump and a wall-mounted toolbox containing all emergency repair tools are freely available in each bike park.
