230 bicycle spaces for Météo France employees in Toulouse (31)

Thanks to large-scale bicycle facilities built in partnership with UGAP, Météo France employees in Toulouse will no longer be short of parking spaces when they cycle to work!

To complete and expand its range of bicycle parking facilities for employees, the Toulouse site has been equipped with 12 additional open bicycle shelters.

The company’s most popular model is theVarennes open bike shelter from Abriplus, available in a range of sizes to adapt easily to the constraints of different installation sites.

This vaulted-roof bicycle parking facility, with its sober, contemporary design, can accommodate a large number of two-wheelers (bikes and motorcycles).

On the entire Météo France site, 8 bicycle shelters measuring 5 m long by 2.50 m wide were installed, along with 4 open cycle shelters measuring 10 m by 3 m.

From U-shaped bicycle racks bollards (connected by a steel plate) have been installed under the shelters. Each bike rack can secure 2 bikes, with optimum frame and wheel security.

In all, no fewer than 230 bikes can now be secured and sheltered! No matter what the weather conditions, employees’ bikes will be well protected!

To complement these bicycle facilities, a Deluxe bike repair station has been installed on site.

This self-service bike totem enables happy cyclists or “vélotaffeurs” to carry out routine repairs on their bikes, so they can ride in complete safety!

An inflation station integrated into the repair station is a bicycle inflation pump perfectly suited to outdoor use.
