2 bicycle shelters at the Conseil Départemental in Nancy (54)

To encourage sustainable mobility and meet growing demand from users, the Meurthe-et-Moselle (54) departmental council in Nancy has installed two bicycle shelters equipped with A terminals to secure them.

The Abri Plus teams designed, manufactured and installed this equipment for use by employees and visitors to the departmental administrative center.

The choice fell on our Vernon model, robust and contemporary in design. The shelters were designed and installed to optimize the available space and blend in with their surroundings. They therefore come in two different shapes: one bilateral, the other unilateral, to adapt to the available space. The shelters also feature gutters to collect rainwater.

Thanks to their design and dimensions, they can accommodate a large number of bicycles. In all, 32 A-shaped bollards have been installed, giving a total of 64 bicycle spaces. Thanks to this adapted hoop, bicycles can be securely fastened at three points. By providing space to park and protect bicycles, the Meurthe-et-Moselle departmental council is supporting the development of soft mobility in Nancy.
