Wooden bike shelters at Decathlon Saumur (49)

In Saumur, Decathlon has equipped itself with new bicycle shelters for customers and employees.

For every type of cyclist, there’s abike shelter to suit: so we designed, built and installed an open shelter and a secure enclosed bike shelter.

In Maine-et-Loire (49), these two side-by-side bicycle shelters are based on the Mosaïc secure shelter model, and take up the space of just 5 car parking spaces for up to 24 bikes!

The Mosaic secure bike room has been fitted with a self-contained lock with electronic cylinder. Small badges, distributed to employees on request, enable the door to be opened easily. This restricts access to a very limited number of people and reduces the risk of theft.

Inside the bike park, Romeo racks have been installed to park and secure 12 bikes. This bike rack is ideal for properly securing your bike’s lock, while optimizing the available space.

The wood batten cladding gives it a contemporary design.

Alongside it, the shelter has been adapted for self-service use by customers’ bicycles. Still with its wood cladding, it is simply closed on 3 sides to protect from the elements.

Connected U-bollards have been installed under the shelter to enable 12 bikes to be parked and secured once again.
