Six secure bike shelters equipped with DIWIO operating service

And what if multimodality became easy to implement? To encourage the dual use of trains and bicycles in the Centre Val de Loire region, we worked with the SNCF to install secure bicycle shelters equipped with DIWIO access management systems.

Six Nomad bike shelters have been installed at six stations in the region. Their contemporary design, combined with wooden cladding, makes them easily recognizable by users, and facilitates communication about secure bicycle parking.

A further 19 secure Nomad shelters will soon be installed, bringing the total number of bicycle parking spaces to 25!

To support the SNCF in this new adventure, we installed the Diwio global operating solution on our shelters.

It includes :

• A subscription website for cyclists. This site presents the service, the available bicycle spaces in real time, and the subscriptions on offer. Cyclists can subscribe online.
• A supervision platform. The manager can visualize the entrances and exits of the bicycle parking facilities and control his offer and service in real time. They can also call on our customer relations and maintenance services.

The Diwio solution enabled the operator to interoperate this new bike service with its JV Malin transport badges already used by users. A single card is all you need to take the train and park your bike!

The Diwio access solution is a comprehensive tool that enables the SNCF to manage its bicycle parking service, and users to easily locate and reserve a parking space.
