Shelters for passengers and cyclists at Provins station (77)

Abri Plus manufactured and installedbicycle and passenger shelters in Seine-et-Marne (77) for the Provins SNCF railway station within the Communauté de Communes du Provinois.

For this project, Abri Plus worked in conjunction with the Technical Manager of the Provins Town Council, to define the products and models best suited to the layout of the station forecourt and boulevard Jean Jaurès.

To improve travel and mobility at the station, Provins Comm selected the Grand Lieu model bicycle shelter in its double version, as well as theNew Grand Lieu passenger canopy.

The double side-by-side version of theGrand Lieu covered bike park is 8 meters long and 2.50 meters wide.

The bike shelter has also been equipped with 10 standard bike bollards for parking 20 bikes (2 bikes per bollard).

Simple and unobtrusive, the bike bollards fit neatly under the shelter and provide 3-point bike security.

6 passenger canopies were also manufactured by Abri Plus and installed in the town of Provins to protect users from the rain while they wait for their bus or coach.

OurNew Grand Lieu awning measures 3 x 1.6 meters. Its contemporary roof shape gives this waiting shelter its originality.

Thanks to its 2 posts, this passenger canopy has a smaller footprint than a conventional bus shelter.

Our shelters are made in France, with hot-dip galvanized steel frames and honeycomb polycarbonate roofs.

For passenger comfort, this waiting shelter is complemented by additional accessories: benches or standing seats, lighting and display frames.

The Communauté de Communes du Provinois is thus committed to improving station access by implementing a real travel plan.

These new facilities will encourage residents to use public transport (bus, coach, train, etc.) andsoft modes of transport (cycling, walking, etc.) on a daily basis.
