MOSAIC bike shelters in Beauvais eco park (60)

Not long ago, we had the pleasure of building three bicycle shelters in the Oise region (60) for the Beauvais conurbation, for the Tillé eco Park (60).

This green park, located close to the airport runways, is designed to accommodate factories, warehouses and tertiary spaces in a variety of forms. The eco-park will also accommodate local shops and business services on a total surface area of 646,360m2. With this in mind, we installed three bicycle shelters.

For this project, the MOSAICsecure enclosed bicycle shelter was chosen. This enclosed bicycle shelter is highly modular. This means it can be adapted to meet all types of needs. For this project, the Mosaic bicycle shelter was designed to measure 5 meters by 3 meters.

The Mosaic shelter can be installed with 7 different claddings. In view of its location in a natural area, securit glass was chosen for its modern, discreet design, thanks to the transparency of the glass panes.

Securit glass, also known as tempered glass or Saint-Gobain glass, is 5 times more resistant than simple glazing. In the event of breakage, this glass shatters into a multitude of harmless fragments, preventing cuts. This makes it ideal for public bicycle shelters.

The Mosaicbicycle shelter is pre-equipped with an access control system to guarantee secure entry. To complete thetwo-wheeler shelter, bike racks have been added inside. NEO bollards were chosen. These bollards provide 3-point security for bicycles, and can be customized in the color of your choice. What’s more, each bollard can support two bikes simultaneously, with an installation of 6 bollards per bike shelter.

In all, 36 bicycle parking spaces have been created in the Beauvais eco-park. Workers will now be able to ” velotaff” their bikes to work, securing them for the duration of their day inside one of these secure bike shelters.
