MBDA plant equips with large, secure bicycle parking facility (18)

Our Abriplus teams recently travelled to the Cher département (18) to install a vast bicycle parking facility on the site of MBDA, a major player in the defense sector.

The choice of shelter was the Modul’Ere secure shelter. The 6.5-meter-wide, 20-meter-long shelter features an elegant zebra pattern. It also offers a range of cladding options to suit a variety of architectural environments: perforated sheet metal, wood cladding or cut sheet metal, for a look that’s both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

This configuration offers up to 100 bicycle parking spaces.

To complete their offering for their employees, the company decided to add a stainless steel pump and a repair station, an ergonomic station that provides all the most useful tools for cyclists.

To meet new needs, particularly those associated with electrically-assisted bicycles (EABs), the company has also provided a secure storage and recharging area. Three double-column lockers have been installed. These multi-purpose lockers not only store helmets, bags and personal belongings, but also incorporate charging sockets for EABs, facilitating the daily use of these environmentally-friendly means of transport.

Thanks to this comprehensive range of equipment, designed down to the smallest detail, MBDA employees can now cycle to work with complete peace of mind.
