Electric bike shelter at Profondeville Tourist Office (Belgium)

Abri Plus manufactured and installed an open shelter for bicycles at theTourist Office in Profondeville, near Namur in Belgium.

This bicycle parking facility, installed by Abri Plus’ long-standing distributor in Belgium, Wolters Mabeg, is part of the Wallonie cyclable project.

To promote soft mobility and encourage residents to use bicycles and electric bikes, a Grand Lieu-style covered bike park has been installed in front of the tourist office.

This large (4 m x 2.50 m), red bicycle parking facility can accommodate up to 5 VAEs thanks to Juliette supports for electrically-assisted bicycles.

The Juliette VAE holder is a charging station for electric bicycles. The electric bike’s battery slides entirely into the case for recharging.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it can be integrated into open two-wheel shelters and secure bicycle garages.

A total of 3 shelters for 2-wheelers will be installed in the Belgian city: 2 Grand Lieu model shelters and a Beaulieu bicycle shelter.
