Dior regulates parking and recharging for bicycles and electric bikes

This year, we had the pleasure of working with Dior couture, through IDEC. The aim was to equip their new storage warehouse with a large bicycle park in the Loir-et-Cher region (41), and to help them manage the recharging of electrically-assisted bicycles (EABs).

Located in Blois, this warehouse is designed to accommodate 200 employees.

We cooperated with the group in the design and layout of this space dedicated to protecting the staff’s two wheels. The installation of bicycle shelters is a highly effective solution for facilitating and encouraging the use of soft mobility among employees.

The Baronnies model was chosen for its elegant, contemporary design. Its glass roof is one of its many assets, bringing natural light to the bicycle parking area. Thanks to the construction materials we’ve selected, the baronnies two-wheeler shelter is highly reliable and sturdy. Its steel structure ensures strength and durability over time.

A total of 3 Baronnies-style bicycle parking facilities have been installed. Among them, 2 bike shelters are side-by-side, creating a long space. They house 20 NEO model cycle racks. The NEO bollards are designed to accommodate 2 bicycles, giving employees 40 bicycle parking spaces. The installed bike racks were painted in our workshop in Les Sorinières (44), in the same color as the existing warehouse, making for a harmonious whole.

Opposite these 2 bike shelters, another two-wheeled park has found its place. It provides aframework for parking and recharging electrically-assisted bicycles, thanks to e-park VAE charging stations. A total of 7 E-Park charging stations have been installed, enabling 14 people to charge, park and protect their electrically-assisted bicycles. They, too, have been painted in the colors of the Dior premises.

This bicycle facility, which includes bicycle parking and recharging facilities for VAEs , is a concrete example of a successful soft mobility project!
