Colorful bike racks for a scientific establishment in Nantes Bouguenais (44)!

The Institut français des sciences et technologies des transports, de l’aménagement et des réseaux (IFSTTAR), located near Nantes airport in Bouguenais (44), has installed bicycle facilities to promote soft mobility.

The public scientific and technological establishment wanted to install original, designer bike racks that would blend in perfectly with the buildings.

Abri Plus offered IFSTTAR its Caligo bike rack model, which allows the user to play with shapes and colors. IFSTTAR opted for a mix of blue and green colors, which accentuates the fun aspect of the 6 bike racks installed.

These practical high and low bike racks allow alternating parking of two wheels, and provide excellent support for bicycles compared with conventional bollards.

These bike racks can also complement an open bike shelter or a secure bike garage.

With this new arrangement, IFSTTAR cyclists can easily park their bikes and secure them individually in a dedicated space.
