Swedish truck and coach manufacturer SCANIA (Volkswagen Group) called on Abri Plus to build a collective design bicycle shelter in Maine-et-Loire (49), for its Angers plant.
The international company opted for the double version of Abri Plus’ Nomad bicycle shelter.

Twobike shelter modules were pre-assembled in the Abri Plus workshops and installed side-by-side to form a secure double shelter approximately 6 m long and 5.80 m wide, providing protection for 40 bikes.
The Nomad bike park can be adapted to suit the number of bikes that companies and local authorities need to secure.

What’s more, to keep on-site installation time to a minimum, delivery and installation are carried out by our teams using a crane truck.
This covered bike park is pre-equipped with 40 bike racks on two levels, model 2 park up, to optimize the number of bikes that can be parked inside.
10 bike racks are also equipped with sockets for recharging EABs.

Scania France chose to personalize its bicycle shelter with a canopy and custom-made adhesives: bicycles all around the shelter and the griffin, the manufacturer’s emblem, on the door.
The blue color chosen (RAL5013) for the perforated sheets on the top and bottom of the bike shelter and for the intermediate sheets, also matches the color of the company’s brand and buildings.

A filling station can be installed inside to offer a complementary service to employees who cycle to work.
The installation of this bike shelter enables the company to encourage active commuting by its employees on a daily basis.
