Bicycle parking at the University of Poitiers

In the Vienne region (86), Abri Plus installed a bicycle parking facility for the University of Poitiers.

With its strong commitment to sustainable development, the University of Poitiers wanted to encourage students to use soft mobility on the university campus.

For this large-scale project, the Faculté de Poitiers selected the Grand Lieu model of bicycle and motorcycle shelters.

32 modules of this model of bike and motorcycle shelter were manufactured and installed by Abri Plus teams in a “bike park” close to the campus buildings.

Thanks to the modularity of the shelters, the University of Poitiers was able to create a 100% customized layout for its bike park.

Alternating single, quadruple side-by-side and double back-to-back modules optimize available space.

The new bike shelters will be able to accommodate over 250 bikes.

Bicycle signs have also been placed on the windows of open bicycle shelters.

The shelters can be customized to meet the specific requirements of local authorities or companies, so that they can be totally adapted to your image: color, covering, signage…
