An enclosed bicycle shelter is installed at the Port of Le Havre (76)

In November, Abriplus travelled to the Normandy coast to install a secure bicycle shelter for Haropa Port du Havre. Haropa Port du Havre opted for a Modul’Ere shelter measuring 4m x 4m x 2.10m, made up of slatted cladding and safety glass.

Constructed from galvanized steel, this bike shelter is designed to withstand the elements and last the test of time. In addition, Abriplus offers a wide range of bicycle shelters in different materials, colors and sizes, enabling you to customize them to suit your needs and desires.

To optimize the use of interior space, four charging stations for electrically-assisted bicycles (EABs) have been installed. These E-PARK VAE terminals, specially designed to accommodate two electric bikes each, provide a total capacity of eight electric bikes. The right-hand side of the shelter remains free to ensure smooth traffic flow.

What’s more, to maximize user comfort, the shelter is equipped with LED lighting and a motion detector. Access is secured by a badge or code system, guaranteeing optimum security.

This shelter, located on the port site, offers employees the possibility of cycling to work, encouraging them to adopt a more environmentally-friendly mode of transport.
