A secure bicycle shelter for CPAM employees in La Rochelle (17)

Following a call for tenders, Caisse Primaire d’Assurance Maladie chose Abri Plus to supply and install a secure bike room for its site in La Rochelle (17).

This secure bicycle facility was created in collaboration with the Direction Immobilière Ouest, in accordance with the CPAM’s very precise specifications, supplemented by the guidelines for bicycle parking in private spaces (issued by the Ministère de l’égalité des territoires et du logement and the Ministère de l’Ecologie, du Développement Durable et de l’Energie).

Thanks to its contemporary Modul’Ere bicycle shelter, Abri Plus was able to meet the requirements of the healthcare organization, which wanted to secure its employees’ two-wheeled vehicles in a confined space.

Modul’Ere is a modular, upgradeable bike park offering secure parking for 2-wheelers.

The cladding chosen by the CPAM is barred, but this bicycle shelter is also available with glass, wood, wire mesh or a combination of these materials.

The 6.50 m long, 5 m wide bike room has been fitted with 2 park up bike racks. The 2 park up system optimizes bicycle parking in the shelter, thanks to its 2-level bicycle storage system.

40 individual bicycle parking spaces are now available for employees, which will enable the development of environmentally-friendly commuting.

The bike park can also be completed with various options and equipment for cyclists: access management system for shelter, lighting, inflation station, bike repair station , etc.
