THE NANTES CYCLOSTATION OPENS ITS DOORS

On Monday November 15th, the City of Nantes inaugurated the Gare Nord Cyclostation!

700 covered spaces dedicated exclusively to bicycle users are now available free of charge.

This bike parking facility is one of the largest in France.

For this major project, Nantes chose Abriplus to provide the shelter with suitable bicycle equipment. Double-height 2 Park Up bike racks were installed by our teams to accommodate 676 bikes!

This sturdy, practical equipment makes the most of the space available, thanks to its double-decker system. Extremely popular in the Netherlands, where cycling has become a way of life, its gas-lift system guarantees reliable equipment that can be used by the vast majority of cyclists.

Securing rings make it easy for users to attach their bikes to their personal locks at two points: on the frame and on the wheel.

To enable all types of bicycles to be parked, Abriplus has also manufactured and installed dedicated bollards for cargo bikes, which are becoming increasingly popular in Nantes!

These 16 spaces, designed to fit cargo bikes, will quickly find their users.
