Abri Plus wins the 2018 Global Design Trophy

Abri Plus was awarded the“Trophée du Design global 2018” by theÉcole de Design de Nantes Atlantique and the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Nantes – Saint-Nazaire at the 16th edition of the Trophées de design stratégique.

The awards ceremony took place during the Salon des Entrepreneurs, on Thursday November 22, 2018 at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes.

For the past 15 years, these Trophées have rewarded “companies that have been able to innovate through design and encourage other VSEs, SMEs and ETIs to take design into account in their development plans”.

The Global Design Trophy won by Abri Plus specifically rewards “the company that distinguishes itself through a systematic approach to products, packaging, space and graphics”.

A jury made up of experts in design and the regional economy (Pays de la Loire, Bretagne and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions) selected Abri Plus for its innovative design approach at the heart of the company’s strategy and development.

” Abri Plus’ added value lies in the fact that our products are designed, manufactured in France andinstalled by our own teams ,” confirms Managing Director Grégoire Maes.

This award is therefore a fine recognition of the expertise inaesthetics andergonomics for the French leader in shelters.

Indeed, whatever the product range (bike shelters, passenger shelters, container shelters…) design is at the heart of Abri Plus shelters and accessories.

Since 2013, design has taken on an increasingly important role with the recruitment of an industrial designer, Claire Bothorel, who works in conjunction with the integrated design office.

Their complementary experience and expertise enable us to create tailor-made products, as well as innovative new products adapted to market needs.

In this way, the Design Trophy rewards Abri Plus for its original design strategy through innovative solutions for soft mobility and sustainable development.
