The SNCF has renewed its confidence in Abriplus and contacted us to install a new bicycle shelter in Seine-et-Marne (77).
The Kompact bicycle locker was chosen for its many advantages.
This secure bike locker is pre-assembled in our workshops near Nantes, then delivered and installed directly on site using a crane. The secure bike locker therefore requires no on-site work.

So it was to the Gretz-Azmainvilliers station that our installation teams set off with the Kompact freestanding locker. This bike locker canhouse up to 12 bikes on 2 levels in a small space of just 7m2 on the ground. The interior of the bike shelter is equipped with a double-decker bike rack. Cyclists can secure and store their bikes on a double rack without difficulty, as the 2 park Up rack is equipped with an ergonomic handle and a ball bearing ensuring easy lowering and carrying of the bike.

In addition to its parking capacity and optimized space, the Kompact secure bike rack offers a real plus: it has the special feature of a flat roof that can accommodate photovoltaic panels. It can therefore be self-sufficient in electricity and meet the various needs of equipment such as VAE boxes for recharging electric-assist bicycles on the 2-storey bike rack, automatic lighting, access management, etc.

Thebicycle shelter was installed at the entrance to the station, just a few meters from the railway crossing. To make it easier for passengers to understand its function, stickers were produced and placed on the shelter. This is an excellent means of communication, enabling passengers to understand the function of this cycling infrastructure and its use.
Here’s another project encouraging the use of multimodality and promoting soft mobility. Thanks to this bike shelter, travelers will be able to get to the station and catch their train while leaving their bike in a safe place!
