Secure, shared bike and motorcycle parking

Abri Plus manufactured and installed a secure bicycle shelter in Hacquegnies, Belgium, through its Belgian partner Wolters Mabeg.

On behalf of TRBA, a road construction specialist, the secure bike park was installed in a car-sharing parking lot on the A8 freeway (Tournai to Brussels).

The local mayor selected ourSquare + bicycle shelter for its resolutely contemporary look.

Square Plus is a collective bike park with a contemporary design. Its dimensions can be adapted to suit the number of bikes to be parked: dozens or even hundreds of spaces for two-wheeled vehicles can be provided!

Thecladding chosen for this project is khaki green perforated sheet metal all around the shelter. The covered bicycle and motorcycle parking area is 6.30 m long and 3 m wide.

A wide variety of enclosures are available for this model of bike shelter: tempered “securit” glass, wood, wire mesh, expanded metal or a combination of these materials.

The bike shelter is also equipped with a 0.75-meter canopy, providing a large communication surface and allowing total customization of the shelter.

This secure 2-wheeler shelter features “bike park” adhesive signage and a bicycle motif to draw attention to its functionality and make it highly visible from the outside.

The bike and motorcycle room is totally secure, with access via a key-locked door.

For secure bike and motorcycle parking, managing access to the shelter is essential, which is why Abri Plus offers several access control systems to secure its shelters: mechanical digicodes, badge readers, card readers, smart codes…

A motorcycle bar has been installed, and bike racks will make it easier to park and secure two-wheelers inside the shelter.

This bike and motorcycle garage, located in an eco-friendly parking lot, will help to develop soft mobility andbike/car intermodality.

Users will be able to easily use several different means of transport on their daily journeys.
