In Haute-Vienne (87), the Communauté d’Agglomération Limoges Métropole (87) has been offering new parking spaces for 2-wheelers in collective bike lockers for V’LIM.
Abri Plus has installed 5 collective shelters on the Limoges University Campus: at the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, the University Hospital and ESTER Technopole (near the engineering schools).
With their contemporary design and wood and mesh cladding, Modul’Ere security shelters blend in perfectly with the trees and natural surroundings of the university campus.
These collective lockers are equipped with 2-storey 2 parkup bike racks, which optimize bike parking thanks to a unique double-storey system. Bikes are held in place by forks, making it easy to get on and off the second floor.
These bicycle garages are dressed in the Agglo’s colors, bearing the logo of the Communauté d’Agglomération Limoges Métropole and the name of the service for quick recognition.
Each shelter is equipped with an access management system and has 32 bicycle parking spaces, 16 of which are equipped with VAE plug-in units for recharging electric-assist bicycles.
