Nantes Métropole (44) selected Abri Plus to deploy secure parking facilities for bicycles and electric bicycles as part of its bicycle plan.
Individual Vel’Box bicycle lockers have been custom-designed and will be installed throughout the Nantes metropolitan area.
These bike boxes enable users to easily secure their two wheels and equipment (helmet, rain gear, etc.) inside the shelter during their daily commute.
The design sheet metal cladding on the sides and the “bike” signage mast make the instructions highly visible to both users and passers-by.
Use of the bike lockers is simple and intuitive, thanks to a system of sliding doors.
These bike boxes blend in perfectly with the urban environment of Nantes Métropole, thanks to their gray color and resolutely modern design.
With these secure bicycle boxes, Nantes Métropole is encouraging soft mobility and intermodality (use of several modes of transport for the same journey).
