Secure bicycle parking at Saint-Pierre-des-Corps station (37)

To promote multimodality in the Indre-et-Loire region (37), Abri Plus has built a collective bicycle parking facility through UGAP (Union des groupements d’achat public) at Saint-Pierre-des-Corps station.

This secure bicycle locker will simplify life for residents, who will be able to easily use several different means of transport on their daily commute.

The Tours urban area has selected Abri Plus’Modul’Ere bicycle shelter.

This modular, upgradeable bike room is 10 meters long and 6.50 meters wide.

The cladding is made of a slatted frame with perforated sheets all around the top of the bike shelter. This bicycle shelter is also available with glass, wood, mesh or a combination of these materials.

The enclosed, secure shelter has been fitted withRomeo bike racks, providing parking for over 50 two-wheelers!

Lockers have also been installed inside the shelter to enable cyclists to store their belongings (bicycle helmets, etc.). These storage lockers are also equipped with sockets for recharging batteries.

2 information panels, one inside and one outside the bike locker, will explain how the shelter works and how to subscribe.

For complete customization of the bike locker, specific signage can also be added.

It is also possible to install additional services for cyclists, either indoors or outdoors, close to the bicycle shelter: inflation station (manual or electric), repair station, washing station, etc.

These facilities enable users of the bike locker to maintain their two-wheeled vehicles with ease, thanks to tools made available to them free of charge.
