The Communauté d’Agglomération du Puy-en-Velay worked with Abri Plus to develop its multimodal interchange at Le Puy-en-Velay station (43).
Individual, secure bicycle boxes have been installed: 2 x 2-space Vel’boxes and 4 x 4-space vel’boxes.
As a result, 12 individual parking spaces for bicycles are now available to Ponots, encouraging environmentally-friendly travel.
Red and gray in color, the bike lockers feature sliding doors with a non-reproducible key locking system.
The sides of the bike boxes are clad in bike-decorated sheet metal, so that the bike lockers are clearly visible to station users and passers-by.
Residents of Le Puy-en-Velay can now easily shelter their bicycles before catching their train.
