Nevers agglomeration installs 2 Vel’boxes Angers (58)

Recently, Abriplus teams travelled to central France, in the department of Nièvre (58), to install individual bicycle lockers in the town of Nevers.

The municipality has chosen four two-door Angers Vel’boxes, designed with solid sheet metal cladding. Situated in two strategic locations, these bicycle boxes offer a secure capacity of four places and integrate perfectly into all types of environment. Abriplus also offers full design customization, with wood or perforated sheet metal cladding options and a wide range of RAL colors.

To enhance the legibility and identification of these parking facilities by local residents, the town of Nevers opted for aself-adhesive option. This solution integrates the bike lockers harmoniously into the urban landscape, while aligning them with the town’s visual identity. As a result, these infrastructures become more visible and attractive to residents and tourists alike.

Thanks to their compact design, Vel’boxes maximize the use of available space and offer a practical solution for securing several bikes in a small space. Each individual locker can be locked with a padlock or a personal anti-theft device.

The lockers, which are freely accessible throughout the city, promote more responsible mobility by providing residents with a secure parking area for their bicycles. This initiative is fully in line with Nevers’ commitment to soft mobility and environmentally-friendly modes of transport.
