INRIA Sophia Antipolis University equips itself with an open shelter (06)

With the arrival of warmer weather, more and more facilities are equipping themselves to encourage soft mobility. Such is the case at Valbonne University (06), which has installed an open bicycle shelter for its students.

The company opted for the Bois de Céné bicycle shelter, a model renowned for its larch wood frame. Elegant, it blends perfectly into the landscape, and is also available in a steel frame version.

The bike shelter measures 12 x 2.5 meters and is available in 184 RAL colors.

To enable bicycles to be parked, 12 painted A-bike bollards have been installed, providing 24 spaces, with each bollard able to accommodate two bicycles.

To complete the offer, the university has chosen to add equipment useful to cyclists:
