Bicycle parking at a carpool area in Niévroz (01)

The Communauté de Communes de la Cotière (3CM) worked with Abri Plus to manufacture and install a secure bicycle parking facility at a car-sharing area in Niévroz, Ain (01).

The bike park chosen by Comm Comm is the Modul’Ere model from Abri Plus.

Modul’Ere is a contemporary, modular bike park with a wide choice of finishes: glass, wood, mesh, vertical or horizontal bars.

Thecollective bicycle shelter chosen by the communauté de communes features a green, vertical, randomly slatted frame.

2 park-up bike racks have also been installed inside the bike locker.

Depending on the level of use of the bike park, high-level racks can then be added. These will double the number of bicycle parking spaces available.

Access to the bike park will also be secured by a badge system.

Self-service bicycle equipment can also be offered to cyclists so that they can repair their two-wheeled vehicles themselves: inflation station, bicycle repair stationtoolbox…

Located at car-sharing areas or park-and-ride facilities, these collective bike lockers encourage the development of environmentally-friendly travel, in line with the policy of the commune or Communauté de Communes.
