A secure bicycle garage to promote soft mobility at Schifflange station (Luxembourg)

Schifflange railway station is located on the line between Bettembourg and Esch-sur-Alzette.

In collaboration with our distributor Wolters Mabeg, we have installed this safe space in the center of Schifflange, to encourage soft mobility.

This large-capacity Modul’Ere secure bicycle shelter(dimensions 6.5m X 4m X 2.80m) is equipped with :

– painted galvanized steel frame,

– a rounded steel roof,

– steel door with suction cup and panic bar,

– a protective canopy over the door,

– presence sensor lighting.

This bike room has been designed in the image of the town of Schifflange. It is accessorized with signage: an engraved CFL logo (Société National des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgois) and a 1.50m x 1m cut-out sheet-metal bicycle logo positioned next to the door.

Thebike shelter is entirely modular, not only in size, but also in operation and design. It offers numerous possibilities for perfect integration into the landscape.

This collective parking locker encourages intermodality. Users can now easily make a combined bike+train trip.

Abri Plus also offers a dedicated bike repair station. This station offers cyclists 8 tools for 2-wheel maintenance (screwdrivers, tire levers, etc.).

Several models of collective or individual lockers are available. Our shelters are designed and manufactured in our workshops near Nantes (44), and are installed by our own installation teams in France and abroad.
