A local school is equipped with a Rotocompost by Ridan (37)

A Rotocompost by Ridan has been installed at the local school in Pocé-Sur-Cisse to comply with regulations requiring the sorting and recycling of bio-waste.

The 141 half-boarders dispose of their food waste in special biobins.

Every day, 15 to 20 kilos of food waste are sorted and taken to the composting platform located in a dedicated area. Véronique, a school catering worker, then pours the biowaste and shredded material into the Rotocompost, turning the crank to stir and aerate it. She also pours the unmatured compost into the maturing bin.

Town hall teams supply the shredded material and collect the compost produced.

Compost has already been used to fertilize flower beds.

This on-site recycling system is particularly virtuous in terms of carbon footprint, and meets the ambitions of the Pocé-Sur-Cisse municipal team, which is committed to implementing actions in favor of the climate, the planet and its biodiversity.
