A designer garbage can for a condominium in Lille (59)

In the Nord region of France (59), Abri Plus manufactured and installed an outdoor garbage can shelter in Lille in collaboration with its partner TEMACO (a Plastic Omnium subsidiary).

Abri Plus regularly works with TEMACO to provide pre-collection and waste storage solutions for the renovation of low-income housing and residential developments.

The Belfort condominium in Lille initially used old, open storage rooms with no hatches, and the waste was visible from the street.

Residents sometimes used them for bulky items, and the garbage room was undersized in relation to the number of homes using it.

The Beauvais Parc litter garbage can cover, manufactured and installed by Abri Plus, replaces the existing litter garbage can and improves waste management in the residence.

In fact, 8 traps have been installed to allow the sorting of household waste on one side and recyclable waste on the other.

These hatches are easily accessible to building occupants.

The new garbage can has a lockable door.

The janitor must only take out the wheeled bins when the city collects the waste.

This adaptable container shelter combines design and sturdiness. It’s easy to install, and comes complete withpelletized sheet metal cladding.

Le Beauvais Parc has thus created an aesthetic and ergonomic collection point at the foot of this residence in Lille.
