In response to a call for tenders, Abri Plus manufactured and installed bicycle lockers at the Château des Ducs d’Anjou in Angers.
The 4 secure Vel’ Box bicycle lockers offer 8 closed bicycle parking spaces.
In Maine-et-Loire (49), these individual bicycle shelters are managed by the Conciergerie touristique vélos located on Place Kennedy opposite Angers Castle.
In addition to bike lockers and two-wheel rentals, additional bike services (luggage storage, inflation station, etc.) are available to cyclists all summer long.
Dark gray in color, the bike boxes blend in perfectly with the city’s surroundings.
Customized stickers have been affixed to the sides of the miniboxes to explain to tourists how the individual bike lockers work and how to use them.
