64 bicycle parking spaces in Foussemagne (90)

Recently, our teams hit the road in Foussemagne in theTerritoire de Belfort (90) to equip a new parking lot with bicycle parking solutions. It’s a bike park we built in collaboration with GSE for one of its customers. The aim of the project was to provide a company’s employees with secure parking spaces for their bicycles. After studying the various possibilities, theNaturelli open bike shelter was finally chosen.

This flat-roofed bicycle shelter offers numerous advantages. Firstly, thanks to its modern design combining wood and steel, the Naturelli adapts easily to different environments. The quality materials of which it is made have been carefully selected. Thebike shelter is made from European Larch wood, renowned for its rot-proof, dense and durable character, as well as galvanized steel and safety glass, offering great strength and safety.

What’s more, Naturelli bike shelters are available in a range of sizes, to suit your needs. For the GSE site, 4 bike shelters measuring 7.54 meters by 2.5 meters were installed. The bike racks were arranged in pairs, side by side, creating a central aisle.

To ensure the stability and safety of bicycles, ROMEO two-wheel racks have been installed under the bicycle shelters. ROMEO bike racks optimize the number of available parking spaces by alternating between high and low positions. On these bike racks, a cyclist can secure his or her two-wheeler at 3 points, offering optimum safety. Each classic ROMEO bike rack can accommodate 4 bikes. A total of 16 racks have been installed under the open bike shelters, enabling 64 employees to secure their bikes.

The installation of this type of bicycle parking encourages employees to adopt the velotaf, thus contributing to the development of soft modes of transport as the main means of travel.
