In collaboration with its Norwegian partner Laud Produkter, Abriplus has developed the SQUARE PLUS enclosed, secure bicycle shelter.
Tromso-based SIVA , which supports and helps Norwegian companies to grow, wanted to provide a secure bicycle shelter for its employees.
The SQUARE PLUS bicycle shelter has been manufactured with glass cladding and adapted by our design office with a snow-reinforced roof.
The collective bike park has been equipped with 2 park-up double bike racks that can accommodate up to 56 bikes.
The special feature of this bike rack is that it optimizes parking inside the bike shelter.
In fact, this ingenious bike rack allows bicycles to be parked on 2 levels: racks are located at ground level, and other bike racks complete the installation above ground.
The bike shelter door is equipped with an access control system to secure and restrict access.
A sign on the shelter’s awning completes the bicycle installation.
Electrically-assisted bicycle (EAB) outlets can also be installed to recharge electric bikes.
For the record, the photos were taken during the only hour of winter when it was daylight!
