50 bicycle spaces for students in the cité U at Poitiers (86)

In the Vienne region (86), Abriplus installed bicycle facilities for students living in university halls of residence in Poitiers.

Following a call for tenders on behalf of the CROUS, Abriplus teams worked with the architect in charge of the bicycle installations.

9 individual VEL’BOX bicycle lockers have been manufactured, customized and installed at various sites around the city’s student residences.

Each unit has 2 bicycle spaces (1 bicycle per door for optimum security).

The student secures his two-wheeler with an anti-theft device inside the bike locker and locks the door with a padlock.

This model of bike locker has been fitted with sliding doors, and some veloboxes are also equipped with sockets for recharging VAEs.

The side walls of the bike lockers were personalized with bike stickers, the words ‘parc vélos’ and the customer’s logo.

Depending on your requirements, we can offer you a fully customized adhesive coating produced by our graphics department.

Instructions for use and the number of the bicycle lockers are given on the front of the lockers.

To complement these urban bicycle shelters, UPLA terminals have been installed near the bicycle boxes.

Each bike bollard secures 2 bikes (one on each side)

54 bicycle spaces are now available for students living in cité U.

Additional bicycle equipment has also been installed: an outdoor bicycle pump and a bicycle repair station.
