4 bike-motorcycle shelters facilitate parking at the École d’Arts et Métiers in Angers (49)

The École d’Arts et Métiers called on Abri Plus to manufacture and install 4 open bike and motorcycle shelters in Maine-et-Loire (49) , Modèle Beaulieu.

This bicycle installation project on the Angers Campus (49) was carried out through UGAP (Union des groupements d’achat public).

4 bike-motorcycle shelters of different sizes have been chosen to facilitate parking for students and staff:

– 2 single shelters 3.80 m long x 2.50 m wide,

– 1 side-by-side double shelter, 7.60 m long by 2.50 m wide,

– 1 side-by-side triple shelter 11.40 m long X 2.50 m wide.

In fact, thanks to the shelters’ modularity, several Beaulieu modules can be placed side by side or back to back to offer greater capacity for bicycles, which is perfectly suited to schools and universities.

With their flat roofs and discreet, contemporary design, Beaulieu bike and motorcycle parking facilities blend perfectly into urban environments.

These bike and motorcycle shelters have been installed at various locations around the school, in parking lots and near buildings.

Bicycle bollards in the shape of an upside-down U have also been installed under the shelters so that cyclists can secure their bikes.

Spaces without bike racks allow other motorized two-wheelers (scooters, motorcycles, mopeds, mopeds…) to park under the shelter.

To make iteasier for cyclists tomaintain their bikes, it is also possible to install additional services close to the bike shelters: inflation pump (manual or electric), repair station, washing station…
