20 repair and inflation stations for Deluxe bicycles will be deployed throughout the Communauté d’Agglomération de Saint Germain Boucles de Seine (CASGBS – 78-95).
As part of the bicycle plan launched last May, 20 towns in the SGBS conurbation will be equipped with self-service bicycle repair and tire-inflation stations.

Each of the towns in the Communauté d’Agglo has chosen the most suitable location for cyclists: high-traffic, easy-to-access sites where the equipment will be clearly visible.
The first stations have already been installed at Sartrouville station near the bicycle parking area, at Le Mesnil-le-Roi near the cultural center and sports complex, and at Carrières-sur-Seine on the banks of the Seine at the Abreuvoir parking lot.
The Bikefixtation bicycle service station by Abri Plus is accessible 24/7 and provides cyclists with free tools secured on retractable aircraft cables.

Allen keys, torx wrenches, tire levers, flat wrenches and screwdrivers enable cyclists to carry out minor repairs on their two-wheelers: changing tires or tubes, tightening handlebars…
Stickers on both sides of the bicycle totems enable stations to be customized for each city in the conurbation.
Each self-service bike terminal is fully equipped and can be used by 2 cyclists at a time:
– to facilitate repairs, a first bike can be installed on the maintenance arm by the saddle,
– to inflate tires with the manual pump, a second bike can be positioned in the wheel chock.
The stainless steel outdoor inflator integrated into the Deluxe repair station is a bicycle inflation pump perfectly suited to regular outdoor use.

These facilities, built in collaboration with UGAP (Union des Groupements d’Achat Public), offer a real service to users, enabling them to ride in complete safety , and are perfectly in line with the agglomeration’s new cycling policy.
Already popular in other French cities such as Rennes (35), Bordeaux (33), Paris (75) and Toulouse (31), this user-friendly serviceencourages environmentally-friendly travel.
Other developments are also planned to encourage the use of bicycles on a daily basis in the conurbation, including the creation of 80 kilometers of new cycle routes!
