2 secure bicycle racks for the Nevers local authority (58)

Following a call for tenders won by Abriplus, the Communauté d’Agglomération de Nevers (58) has started to roll out its bicycle plan with specific equipment for bicycles and VAEs in the Nièvre (58) region.

2 Modul’ère 4 m x 4 m secure bike shelters equipped with Romeo bike racks have been installed in strategic locations in Nevers to encourage intermodality between bikes and public transport, such as at the Banlay interchange.

Station users will be able to secure their bikes before catching their train or bus.

This contemporary dark-gray bicycle shelter with its original cladding (random bars) blends in perfectly with the urban environment.

For complete personalization, bicycle signage bearing the Nevers C.A. logo has been installed on the collective bike lockers, as on the other bike shelters in the market.

Each bike park has 10 secure bike parking spaces, including a specific space for VAE.

Romeo bike racks are perfectly suited to secure shelters, as they optimize the number of bikes parked, by alternating the bikes in the top and bottom positions.

Abadge access system provides additional security for bikes inside the shelters.

Other Beaulieu open bike shelters and Vel’box individual bike lockers have also been installed in the conurbation, and deployment will continue with the installation of new shelters.
