170 Composit shelters for the Montbéliard region (25)

Recently, Abriplus had the opportunity to collaborate with the Agglomération du Pays de Montbéliard to install 170 Composit shelters, distributed throughout the various communes of the agglomeration. This major project marks an important milestone for the region!

Pays de Montbéliard has decided to equip its communes with 170 garbage can shelters to support waste sorting and collection. By facilitating access to these modern infrastructures, the agglomeration aims to meet citizens’ expectations in terms of eco-responsible initiatives and contribute to preserving the local environment.

For this project, the conurbation opted for a Composit bin shelter: a wooden Composit shelter, composed of wood fibers and plastic. designed to blend harmoniously into the landscape while offering optimum resistance to the elements. Available in single or double versions, this garbage can shelter is equipped with an ergonomic opening system and a secure closure, guaranteeing easy access while avoiding the risk of damage by animals or wind.

These bin shelters, located in strategic locations such as residential areas and busy thoroughfares, contribute to urban cleanliness by reducing the dispersion of waste and making daily sorting easier for residents. They play an active role in improving the living environment, while raising awareness of the importance of waste management.

Given the positive impact of this first installation, the Pays de Montbéliard is already planning to order 60 additional shelters to complete its network.
