Abri Plus worked in partnership with Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France to install 140 2-storey bike racks in the Plaine Saint-Denis district, opposite the Stade de France.
This project was carried out in Saint-Denis la Plaine (93), north of Paris, in the exceptional “Melchior-Moods” building, whose architect-designed façade changes color according to the weather.
Strategically located close to the RER station, this building of high architectural quality, with 30,000 m² of office space, has been designed to promote comfort and well-being in the workplace, with an interior patio planted with trees, terraces, balconies and panoramic views over the capital…
In addition to these user-friendly spaces, additional services are also available, including ample parking for two-wheelers.
Abri Plus installed the bike racks in the building’s basement, giving preference to its 2 Park Up model – a two-storey bike rack for secure bike parking facilities.
This 2-level parking model is the ideal bike rack for small spaces, as it optimizes bike parking thanks to its unique double-level system.
Its rear-wheel restraint system makes it possible to secure bicycles quickly.
This double-decker rack is equipped with integrated ball bearings and a gas spring for effortless lowering (up to 15 cm from the ground) and raising of bicycles at the top, for optimum user support.
As an option, securing rings can be added, as well as VAE socket outlets for recharging electric-assist bicycles.
In the small alcoves of the bike park, Romeo-style bike racks complete this exceptional layout, further optimizing the number of bikes that can be parked and secured.
Thanks to this modern, large-scale installation, a total of over 150 bicycles can now be secured in the building’s basement.
In this way, at the gateway to Paris, employees working on this exceptional Plaine Commune – Grand Paris site will have access tomodern bicycle infrastructure perfectly suited to soft modes of transport and in line with the national bicycle plan.
