A bike shelter installation study is an analysis aimed at determining the ideal location to install your bike parking area. This study takes several factors into account: security, accessibility, capacity, the needs of your future users, regulatory and environmental constraints.

The aim of this study is to enable the creation of abicycle parking facility that will meet your expectations and those of cyclists, while respecting your budget and the regulations in force. The layout study will enable us to determine together the best locations for these cycle shelters.

The Mobility Orientation Law (LOM), adopted in 2019, includes several measures aimed at encouraging the use of bicycles as an alternative mode of transportation. Regarding bike facilities at train stations, the LOM law specifically mandates that railway infrastructure managers implement secure bike parking at stations with more than 100,000 passengers per year. This affects 1,133 SNCF and RATP stations, which must offer a secure and practical system for parking bikes before taking the train.

These measures should promote intermodality and encourage people to opt for more sustainable modes of transport for their daily journeys.
