For an outdoor bike shelter or parking area, whether open or closed, a number of features are available to help users park their bikes more easily, or even to make life easier for the general public:
– Storage lockersare often essential to support users by securing helmets or other backpacks… with a captive key.
– The litter garbage can helps to keep the periphery of the bike shelter tidy, by encouraging cyclists to be civil.
–Presence-sensing lighting adds visual comfort and a sense of reassurance. Note that some enclosed shelters, such as the ‘Kompact’, are already pre-equipped with solar-powered lighting.
– Especially for closed bike shelters, there are several solutions for opening doors by access management and subscribers, (mechanical Digicode, autonomous badge reader, VIGIK, etc.).
– The billboard will be used to communicate on the use of thebike shelter or relevant information on the service provider. It is designed for 60x80cm posters.
– Adhesive signage makes your bike shelter more attractive and enables you to communicate in very large size.
– For electric bikes, VAE recharging units can be grafted onto the bike racks (to be studied in advance, only 2 racks are not adaptable with the VAE unit, Juliette and 2 ParkUp).
– Bicycle maintenance and repair equipment
– Inflating stations (bicycle pumps and wheel chocks)
