A container shelter or bin shelter is a small, often secure, waste shelter with limited capacity. Functional and practical, this type of bin shelter typically allows for the storage of one or two rolling bins.

Small bin shelters are suitable for businesses, local authorities, whether located in urban, suburban, or rural areas.

Several of our outdoor bin shelter models feature a free access opening system with hatches to facilitate waste collection and sorting: household waste (OM), glass, packaging (EM), etc.

To create an aesthetically pleasing waste collection point with larger dimensions, multiple shelters can be installed side by side with a configuration adapted to your environment for a perfect integration into the landscape.

Thus, large residential complexes, housing estates, or social housing can opt for this bin storage system, especially when there are multiple waste disposal points on the same site.

Where should a bin shelter be installed?

Abri Plus waste shelters integrate seamlessly into all environments, whether in urban or rural areas.

When developing your specifications or drafting your CCTP (technical specifications document), it is essential to first consider the waste collection system to facilitate access for waste collection trucks, for example.

To do this, check and identify any potential constraints: curbs, slopes, manholes, etc.
Your bin shelter should also be located at a reasonable distance from building access points, ensuring that users can quickly dispose of their waste while minimizing nuisance from the waste itself.

Additionally, the shelter should be visible in public spaces to deter vandals and avoid damage.

Be careful not to create obstacles in pedestrian pathways and ensure there is clear passage on the sidewalk.
